Every year in Travassos, on the last weekend of August, there is a large pilgrimage in honor of Nossa Senhora das Graças.

To support the holding of this grand event, it is customary the previous weekend, the so-called Raffle weekend, to hold an auction in order to help raise funds for the organization of the party. The weekend of the feast of Nossa Senhora das Graças begins on Friday with a candlelight procession, leaving the Parish Church of Travassós towards the Chapel of Nossa Senhora das Graças. On Saturday, it is customary to offer pilgrims a set of religious activities and musical moments. On Sunday, the main day of the festival, the Solemn Mass of the Festival is celebrated at 10 am in the Chapel. In the afternoon, after the Philharmonic Bands show off, around 5 pm, around the Chapel of Nossa Senhora das Graças, the long-awaited and venerated procession begins.
