During Shrovetide, “races” were held to neighboring villages, where everything was allowed, namely, declaiming jocular quatrains about these inhabitants, recorded during the year.
In order to maintain the tradition, Lousitânea has sought to maintain rigor in the group of people who are part of this race in order to maintain the tradition and so that it does not fall into something that has nothing to do with our traditions, with our cultural roots. .
For this, a short list of recommendations was created for participation in the revelry in order to maintain the tradition, as the group has been growing and we would love to be able to count on you to be part of it.
